UPDATE!!!
10/23/04 Well hot damn! We are now back home after attending the 2nd Annual Rock of Ages show at the Irvine Hilton in Orange County CA. This was another sucsessful show put on by Billy Eason and his BIRD LTD crew. First we want to thank Billy and Ben for helpin us out and making it a very productive evening for us. We got some great interviews from Hunter Spanks, Billy Murran (from Italy), John Hunter, Paul Duhey, Jesse Smith and Donny Hawley. Porkchop was also lucky enough to be included in the Art Fusion Project where he worked side by side with Soba, Boog, Billy Murran, Ben, and Jesse Smith.

As if all that wasn't enough we had the distinct pleasure of paying a visit to Good Time Charlie's Tattooland for an all inclusive shop tour. We got the good word from Jack Rudy, Lil' Roy and all their crew. We want to thank them all for being such a great bunch of swarthy stewbums. So be on the lookout for all this and more in the upcoming volumes of "The Network".

10/11/04Train kept a rollin'! We at The Network are proud to announce a couple of tid bits to turn up in print. First, Porkchop's article covering the August DC show is now out in the latest issue of Prick so be sure to pick that up and give it the once over or you can see the online version HERE

We also want to thank Brandon Bond and the fine folks at Skin and Ink magazine for the little shout out in The Buzz section. It means alot to us guys, we greatly appreciate it.

9/27/04 First off we're shoutin' out a big happy birthday to our video wiz, Scott McCool. Cheers buddy, keep up the good work.

We also want to congratulate Kevin Dye of BLDG5 and his lovely new bride on their marriage last week. Good luck and much happiness in the future.

We also managed to squeeze in a day at Inkslinger's Ball last weekend and were fortunate enough to get some great stuff from Billy Tinney, editor in chief of Tattoo Magazine. He is one of the most seen faces in our biz and makes a huge difference in promoting tattoo awareness. We also had a sit down with Matthew of Amazing Tattoo, Houston Texas who talked with us about his love for graphic color work. So thanks to Fred Saunders and Jack Rudy for helping us out once again.

We will be attending the 2nd Annual Rock of Ages Tattoo Convention in Orange County, CA, October 15 through 17. If you are going to be there and would like to have a word with us, feel free to contact us and let us know.

9/05/04 We here at "The Network" (snappy new catch phrase...eh...eh?) want to give major props to the fine folks of Eternal 66 Productions for another great show. The 3rd annual D.C. Tattoo Expo was a very special event for us because it marks the one year point for us here at "The Network". When we started this little endeavour we didn't know our asses from our elbows and now we have been fortunate enough to make some great friends and allies in this fantastic business. So being able to return to our point of origin was a great feeling. Brian and Tramp have been a huge help to us and we want to extend our deepest gratitude to these fine gentlemen and their staff of hard working mofos.

The show was full of hot artists and the work you have come to know them for. Jack Rudy, Deano Cook, Tony Olivas, Dave Martinez, Jason Mccarty, Tom DePreist, Hannah Aitchison and Tim Kern were all present just to name a few. I got a great kick out of meeting Merle Allin (best known for being G.G. Allin's brother) as well.

So thanks again to everyone that has been on board with us from the very start, without you we wouldn't have much of a video to present. We owe you more than you will ever know. So from Scott and myself (Porkchop) keep on "Networking" and we look forward to seeing you all at future shows.

And on that note we will be making an appearance at the upcoming Inkslinger's Ball on Friday September 17th and then it's back to PHX for our good buddy Kevin Dye's wedding which is being held on my birthday, September 18th.

Also be on the look out for the new Art Intensity Network column in Prick magazine. The first article which will cover the 3rd Annual DC show should be out in their October issue.

Scott also got to meet the fine folks at Lucky Draw (not to be confused with the shop of the same name in PHX) and got the goods on their operation.

As if he wasn't busy enough, he got out and caught up with Chcuk Brank of Prick Magazine and spent some time strengthening our alliance and as a result, Prick is now our newsest official distributor. So thanks to all the fine folks down south for cotinuing to be a great help in what we do. Be sure to check out all their respective efforts and remeber to support your local tattoo scene.

7/06/04 Quick update comin at ya from Clan Tatu in Tempe AZ. We are gearing up to release "Porkchop's Leftovers" later this summer. 6/08/04 For starters we want to thank Tony Olivas and Larry Rodriguez of Sacred Heart in Atlanta, GA  for helpin us out and giving us a tour of two of their three locations. We sure wished we could have stayed for the home made dinner at Tony's but alas that 11 hour drive is a bitch. Be sure to check out www.sacredhearttattoo.com for the goods.

We also were lucky enough to get a great sit down with a legend to the biz, Pat Sinatra of Pat's Tat's of Kingston, NY. Thanks alot Pat we appreciate the help. Make sure you get over to http://patstats.com/frontroom.html and check out their stuff.

6/07/04 Howdy kids. This update is coming straight from the web connect at the Crown Plaza Hotel here in Atlanta GA. It's Monday morning and we are getting ready to head over to get in on a shop tour of Tony Olivas' Sacred Heart Tattoo. Not to mention the fact that the show that went on here this weekend was a great time. Another great show put on by Billy Eason and the good folks at BIRD Productions. We caught up with some great folks like David Bolt (thanks for the prints man) Damon Conklin, Larry Brogan, Chuck Brank or PRICK magazine and a host of other great artists. So thanks to Billy and all his people for helpin us out and we look forward to the Richmond show in November.

6/01/04 We are proud to announce two new releases! First Volume 4 will making it's debut this weekend at the Atlanta show. So be sure to pick up your copy and see great interviews with Hannah Aitchison, Tim Kern, Dan Marshall and a whole lot more.

We are also releasing the first P.A.I.N. Soundtrack Compilation featuring some of our favorite bands that have been on our soundtracks over the past year.

On a much sadder note, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Carlin "Carleigh" Shulman. She was killed in a car accident in Tempe AZ on Sat May 29th. She was apprenticing to become a body piercer and was a huge supporter of the tattoo community as well as a very dear friend to Matt and Scott. She was also going to be a field opperative for P.A.I.N. and never got the chance to attend one show with us. She will be sorely missed. And to the son of a bitch that ran 7 red lights at 80 miles an hour to cause this accident, may you burn in hell for eternity!

5/23/04 We will be off to the Atlanta show put on by Billy Eason and his BIRD production peeps. We are looking forward o catching up with Deano Cook and Brandon Bond and anyone else we can rustle up. Stay tuned for the update. Also Volume 4 is in the final edits and will available later this summer.

5/17/04 How to eat the Big Apple on a Sunday afternoon. We just returned from New York City early this morning and what a great time it was!

First we want to thank Paul Booth for taking time out to give us a great interview and also for inviting us to his Taboo Party at SHOW nightclub. If you've never checked out Last Rites online get over to www.darkimages.com and take a look at the shop photos. But let me tell you that the photos don't begin to do it justice. This place is incredible. Total eye candy. We also want to once again thank the rest of the crew at Last Rites for their continuing support.

We also stopped in on the 7th Annual NYC Convention where there was... well... an "incident" with Jack Rudy. Look forward to seeing the papparazzi incident on one of our volumes to come. Nuthin' but love for ya Jack, we scared that cop pretty good huh?

Also we just got word that the good folks over at Budo Tattoo have re-located to a bigger, better facility. So hop over to www.budotattoo.com and show them some love.
